Open your eyes

So entirely oblivious to the world around
Blinders on, all guards up,
eyes stuck in the moment
buried by pressures, pushed to your limits
Burnt to high degrees

Though it may scar, the pain may hurt
you keep those blinders up.
All people hurt, all people bruise
I need this love more than life itself
Words are flashing
Fists may fly
Through this, circumstances still out weigh
the look of fear in our eyes

Wake up, this is not reality,
the world is not this cruel.
Cross the line, find the horizon
Awaken from this world.

Don't let yourself be tossed and turned,
don't cause yourself to scream.
You don't have to go through this,
you are able to be free.
Listen to the words you say.
Look through different eyes.

Why do you blame, scream and yell...
It's not our fault you're in this hell.
Can't you see this crazy cycle
Can't you just get out?

Please, Oh please, look at the sky
changing and free to be open and cry.
Let yourself be, one is enough
No need for two that fight.
Don't let it swing one more time,
don't let the sword pierce.
I wish that you could only see
I want you to be happy
If only you'd just see
